Housing Center assists HUD in national study, represents Cleveland metro

The Housing Research & Advocacy Center is pleased to announce our role in a national research study on housing discrimination, conducted by the Urban Institute commissioned by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In a report titled, “Housing Discrimination Against Racial and Ethnic Minorities 2012,” the Urban Institute found that subtle discrimination still exists in rental and sales markets across the country. Cleveland was one of 28 metropolitan areas sampled as a testing site. The Housing Research & Advocacy Center was chosen to conduct testing based on our reputation as fair housing leaders in Greater Cleveland.
