Join the fight for civil rights.

We’re going to cut to the chase – civil rights are at risk. As Election Day approaches, we know you’ve been bombarded with emails, texts, and advertisements telling you who to vote for (or not vote for). As a 501c(3) non-profit organization, we will never tell you who to vote for. As an advocacy organization committed to civil rights in housing, we have a responsibility to make you aware of the threats that dangerous policy proposals (like the Heritage Foundation’s “Project 2025”) pose to our community, if enacted. That’s why we’re sounding the alarm and asking for your support to help us continue working to protect the fair housing rights of all people.

For over 40 years, The Fair Housing Center has been fighting for fair housing in Northeast Ohio. We have progressed from a grassroots coalition of advocates and volunteers to a full-service fair housing organization of 18 dedicated staff members. Over the years, our organization has evolved and adapted to meet the ever-changing needs of our community.

60 years after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and 56 years after the passage of the Fair Housing Act, the fight for civil rights is not over. In this pivotal moment, when our rights are on the line, housing justice work is more critical than ever. Recent Supreme Court rulings and an uncertain future for civil rights and fair housing threaten our shared vision for a diverse and inclusive country free from housing discrimination. We are committed to continuing that work and we are asking for your help.

If you believe every person deserves a place to call home, free from discrimination, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Fair Housing Center for Rights & Research today. Your one-time, monthly, annual, or round-up contribution can make a real difference in our ability to continue providing fair housing services to all members of our community.

Will you join us in the fight to protect fair housing rights?
