We interviewed Christopher Hamm, Fair Housing Center Board Member, to learn more about him and his commitment to fair housing. Christopher told us his belief in the importance of fair housing advocacy motivates him to stay involved with our organization’s work. Check out our Q&A with Christopher below!
Q: How long have you been a board member for the Fair Housing Center?
A: 1 year.
Q: How did you get connected with the Fair Housing Center, and what makes you want to stay involved with this work?
A: I connected with FHCRR through Viktoria Kotov, an existing board member. I stay involved because I believe in the advocacy of fair housing. There are many instances where individuals and families need advocates due to their personal situations. Instances like these need to be recognized and addressed in a manner that provides fair, equitable and appropriate resolution for all parties involved.
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I am the Owner/Financial Life Planner of Bridgewater Financial Group.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I spend time with family and friends. I am an avid Cleveland Indians fan. I volunteer to help others as often as I can.
Q: What do you want people to know about the Fair Housing Center?
A: That we not only provide advocacy services, but we have a robust platform of useful research that is available to other entities and municipalities.
